- All new bookings sent to us until March 31st 2021 can be postponed, changed to another Sprachcaffe destination or cancelled up to 31 days before departure, for free.
- Alternatively, we can issue a voucher for the course and accommodation with an expiry date of December 2022. A 31-day notice shall be given to the school. No extra fees will be charged.
- In case a school will delay the reopening, we offer to students the possibility to start their studies online and continue from that point upon arrival.

Travel requirements for COVID-19
- United Kingdom – borders open. Quarantine required on arrival – 10 days, or less with a negative COVID-19 test. More information
- United States – The CDC and Prevention is expanding the requirement for an negative COVID-19 test to all air passengers entering the United States. Before departure to US, a required test, combined with the CDC recommentadionts to get tested 3-5 days after arrival ans stay home for 7 days post-travel. More information .
- Canada – Before departure is required a negative PCR test taken up to 72 hourse. Upon arrival a PCR test at the airport, and stay 3 days' quarentine in a hotel at the airport until the PCR test result are available. Complete a 14 days’ quarantine in the accommodation booked. All students, regardless of their term of study or course type, require a Study Permit issued in their home country by the IRCC (Canadian Immigration authorities). More information
- Germany – students arriving in Germany must register their arrival online prior to entering if they have in the last 10 days been in a high-risk country and self-isolate for 10 days. Different restrictions apply per state. More information
- France – borders are open with no coronavirus-related restrictions for nationals of Member States of the European Union, Andorra, Australia, the Holy See, Iceland, Japan, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Rwanda, San Marino, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, and Thailand. Other passengers can enter France with a negative PCR test carried out in the last 72 hours before travelling and will be tested again upon entry at airports and ports. More information
- Malta – borders are open. Certain restrictions apply, depending on whether the traveller is coming from a country that is included on the Green, Amber or Red list.
Green: Travellers coming to Malta from the ‘Green List' of safe countries will NOT be subjected to a swab test on arrival. There will only be thermal screening at the airport and persons arriving will be asked to fill a self-declaration form requesting information on their travels in the previous 30 days. Specifically, they will be asked to confirm that they have not travelled anywhere outside the safe countries listed.
Amber: Passengers arriving from countries on the ‘Amber List' are required to submit a negative COVID-19 PCR test certificate before boarding flights to Malta. The swab test should be carried out within the previous 72 hours. For increased security, random swab tests may be conducted on passengers upon arrival at the Malta International Airport.
Red: All countries not included on the Green List or Amber List are automatically included on the ‘Red List'. Passengers arriving from these countries must have spent at least the previous 14 days in one of the safe corridor countries before reaching Malta. It is also recommended that these passengers undertake a PCR test within 72 hours prior to arrival. - Spain – borders are open. Requirement of a negative pcr/tma test if you travel to Spain from a risk country/area. From November 23rd, 2020, all passengers who come from a risk country/area in relation to the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, must present, in order to enter Spain, a certificate with a NEGATIVE PCR result (COVID-19 RT-PCR), carried out in the 72 hours before arrival in Spain. From December 10th, 2020, TMA (Transcription-Mediated Amplification) and RT-LAMP (Reverse Transcriptase Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification), have been incorporated as accepted diagnostic tests in addition to PCR.
This certificate or supporting document must be the original, must be written in Spanish, English, French or German and may be presented in paper or electronic format. If it is not possible to obtain it in these languages, the certificate or supporting document must be accompanied by a translation into Spanish, carried out by an official body.
The document will contain, at least, the following information: traveller's name, passport or ID number, test date, identification and contact details of the centre that performs the analysis, the used technique and a negative test result. The personal identification number (passport/ID number) that you use to get your QR code must be the same as the identification number that appears on the negative PCR/TMA certificate.
