Very similar to the French school system, you will graduate from high school after 12 years. Exchange students are usually places into 10th or 11th grade. The school yea is divided into trimesters or quarters. Lessons last until around 2:00 p.m. In the afternoons, the Spanish students usually organize their free time themselves. One year of Spanish is required for the stay.

In Spain, you have the opportunity to apply specially for one of the following six regions: Madrid, Valencia, Granada, Alicante, Seville, and Cadiz. Choosing a region comes with an additional fee.

You live with a Spanish host family who will teach you a lot about the Spanish lifestyle and tradition. Wherever you  will be places, you can be sure host family will welcome you as a new family member.

Sprachcaffe maintains close contact with the local coordinators to help you with any issues that may arise. In addition, a member of the International Office will be there to support you as well.
