School System
In France, the school year starts at the beginning of September and ends at the end of June. Generally, French schools are organized as all-day schools and end at around 5:00 p.mp. Similar to our grammar school, there is a four-year secondary level I (Collège) and a three-year upper secondary level (Lycée).
Subject Selection
Foreign languages, literature, philosophy, economics, social sciences, geography, history, mathematics, biology, physics and chemistry are all being taught at French Lycées. There is also a number of electives and computer courses.
Supervision
Sprachcaffe maintains close contact with the local coordinator to help you with any issues that may arise. In addition, a member of the International Office will be there to support as well.
Preparatory Seminar
Before school starts, you will take part in a two-day orientation seminar in Paris, which is included in the program price. You will learn a lot about French culture and receive important tips that will make it easier for you to settle in with your host family and high schools.
