After having learned Italian nearly 3 months with another language school, I totally recommend the Sprachcaffe school in Santa Domenica di Ricadi, Calabria, Italy. I have enjoyed the nature taking the classes outside with a wonderful view of the sea, and the company of the magnificent teachers and all the staff that works at this place. While I was actually learning and also living the real and great Italian lifestyle. I do not want to miss this experience! Alicia (Mexico)
What a great spot is this! The school is situated in a beautiful garden and the lessons take place outside (if it’s not raining, but that didn’t happen!). The day always starts with a wonderful cappuccino made by the director himself: Rosario. Also fresh fruits are picked up from the garden and you can eat them. The lessons are very pleasant and useful! The teachers are very good. Even though it was low season, the school still organized some nice things like a welcome dinner, a dinner at the school on Thursday evening and for example an excursion to the beautiful Pizzo. It feels like being part of a family here. Also Calabria is a very nice place. I’ve never a seen a sea as blue and clear as here! There are also some nice towns to visit, like Tropea, Pizzo and Scilla. The people are very kind and the food (and the wine!) are very affordable. I spent two wonderful weeks here and parlo un poco italiano à desso! Judith (Netherlands)
I discovered Sprachcaffe completely by chance on the Internet. I was surprised to find such a range of language courses in so many worldwide schools. I decided to try to spend my summer holidays in a language school and I quickly realised I made a very good decision, because in a very interesting way I could combine both leisure and learning. I chose the school in Italy, in Calabria, and I have to say truly I had never made a better choice. So far it has been the best summer adventure in my whole life. Anna (Poland)
